BROAD BASED BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT (BBBEE)

Definition
BBBEE means the Economic Empowerment of all Black People including women, workers, youth, people with disabilities and people living in rural areas through diverse but integrated social-economic strategies that include, but are not limited to increasing the number of black people who manage, own and control enterprises and other productive assets.

ITP's approach to BBBEE
That we attach strategic importance of our Company's future growth to include companies, people and/or communities excluded in the past for political and/or ideological reasons.

ITP is all inclusive to help redress the past by supporting this bold initiative set by government, private sector, labour and other stakeholders.

What has ITP done thus far?
DECTI Rating Agency (Pty) Ltd formerly traded as the S.A.M.P.P.F, a BBBEE rating agency has analysed and evaluated ITP on the following criteria which are some of the 3 major pillars ratings for a BBBEE company.

    - Employment Equity
    - Skills Development

  3. Indirect Empowerment:
    - Preferential Procurement
    - Enterprise Development
    - CSI (residual)

Policy on Learnerships
Unemployed learners
ITP has identified its role and responsibility to assist and empower unemployed learners who have chosen or would wish to start a career in the Recruitment Labour Broking Industry as follows:
  1. Identify learners of all race groups with emphasis on Historical Disadvantaged Individuals
Exposure
Each branch within ITP will have at least 3 learners at any given time rotating in the following departments:
  1. Admin
  2. Executive Sales / Marketing teams
  3. Data capturing Department (Response Handling)
A detailed training programme is available.

Sponsorship
ITP will sponsor at least one learner on each training team for the payroll professional career training programme. This training course is a specialist programme for those intending making Payroll Administration a career.
